Firstly for next year i would like to plan our film and in the way we are going to set it up and location first in a lot of detail so that we now what needs to be done from the the start so we have a planned structure and not get to a day before we are supposed to be filming not knowing what needs to be done.
Secondly I would also use a lot more different camera shots types to make it more effective and exciting for the audience and maybe use more equipment to use for different camera shots to make it different and so that it stands out from other films. I ll would probably use my own camera instead of the school camera add more quality and sound to the film.
Thirdly i would probably add more sound to our trailer to make it more entertaining for the audience so their are more moments to jump of their seats for them i would do this to create more tension and confusion for the audience to make them think the unexpected.
I would also improve our editing in our film and make it more create and technical to the film to make it sound and look a bit different and unexpected. Another thing i would change is maybe our costumes so it looks like we just came back from a football match and it looks like we dressed up for the match. we could also improve it if the west ham fans had weapons to beat up the mill wall to show more passion from the supporters so it shows they care a lot about their team and that way you could tell that they hate when their team loses.

Evaluation 7
After we finished our preliminary task we made a few changes by first we changed the way we used the 180 degree angle so that we are able to see myself and Luke to make it more effective so that the audience can understand what is going on. So we done this ion the fact that we didn't want to break the rule and so we didn't make the audience confuse in what was going on.
Secondly we added edited our sound so that we put it in on the chasing scene to make that scene upbeat and get the audience of their seats that why the audience feel more involved in the film and they dont knoe what to expect next so we added non- dietetic sound to our film to make it more effective and entertaining for the audience.
We also changed the way we used camera shots in our film we used long shots at the chasing scene at the train station to show what was going on a overview as it was just after a football match so it was quiet busy i thought that shot showed the tension between the two sets of supporters. We also used close ups between the two west ham fans to show the relationships between each other as they where walking up the train station i thought that was very effective because the audience know they have a close relationship and always got each others back.

We used a computer to do editing on our film using adobe premier elements 10 effects to make it more attractive and interesting to watch our film we had to change different sizes for our tittles to make it eye catching and used different snapshots, we used a lot of different effects on the computer to make our film. we used a lot of different features to make our film.

We used the way diaries beacuese it sounds like a football hooligian film and it is very attractive and stands out and it is catchy so the audience wont forget the tittle of the film. our film is an action film so it is very effective and it stands out and their is a lot of violence in the film so it goes well with the tittle of the film.
Evaluation 4
The film rating for our film is 15 because there is quiet a lot violence in the film and it is a football hooligan we have two people chasing a west ham fan just because there a rival fan and there is a lot of violence in our film as they beat each other up. we chose a 15 rating because we have aggressive behavior in the film as they are trying to beat him up and there language is quiet bad so that is why we put it as a 15 rating. I also think think if you are under that age you might not understand the film so they might think if you loose a football match that you can go and beat up an opposition football fan which inst acceptable. The audience will want to watch our film because they will think it is very entertaining and the story line is very understandable to get and it kind of teachers you a lesson in it that violence inst the answer.
Luke i think would shop in designer clothes as he looks hoodies and jeans he will also shop in smart shops because his personality is a mixture of the two i think he will listen to pop music and grime as he looks like a person that will enjoy that as he is into a lot of violence and fighting and he is quiet arrogant in the way he acts throughout the away diaries. The tv programs he would like is deferentially sports channels for example sky sports and other hooligian films like greenstreet and other films linked towards that genre.

In our film we have have Luke as a leading character in our film the away diaries and he is the one who stands out and is the main character in the film and i would say he has a major comparison with a character called Pete Dunham in the film greenstreet they both football hooligan films and they are both very demanding and have a major authority and they always make the decisions and never want to loose. they both wear casual clothes and look quiet smart they wear hoodies and casual jeans they have very similar personalty to each other and they i think personally they have very similar personalities in the way they act in their films they are both also very passionate football hooligans they love their football teams and cant stand loosing and you can tell that other football fans from other teams will fear them.

Firstly In our film we chose to set our film in leatherhead train station where we filmed the opening 2 minutes of our film. We used letterhead station to record our film because we thought it would be a good set to make our because we used a chasing scene and we where including in our film where we just finished watching a football match and we where on the way back from the train so it was good to set the scene. we thought that would be a typical place for us to do a chasing film just after a match as you expect some rival supporters to be happy and angry about the result and some fans are very passionate and football is their life and they get angry if they loose. This location is very famous to other famous football hooligan films for example the green street so i thought it was a terrific place to set our film as we had a 20 minute walk from the train station and their is a massive alley leading up to it. There is a also a lot of fighting so the alley was a perfect place to have a fighting scene and it was very realistic and made sense and for that reason I am very proud of my film.
Secondly we used sound effects in the background when we had the chasing scene the music is very upbeat and very intense as we are running through the station and we used a sound track as we thought we would get the audience if their seat and they feel like they are in it and very entertained and they don t know what is coming next.
Thirdly Another feature in our film is that we used a lot of different camera shots for example we used a long shot when we had the chase scene which was very effective as it showed the tension growing between the fans which would grab the audience attention and get them to think what will happen next we also zoomed in on that scene on the shoes when we where running to show the pace the fans where running at. The camera shots clearly show what we a wearing and we had close ups and long shots on it to make it stand out.
Fourthly We put the opening tittles in bold which stand out so that it is at the opening part of the film which will make the film more sense and it will be more effective and understandable for the audience to no what is going on. The tittles we used where all in size 30 so it showed our professionalism that we decided to make it all the same size so it looked very neat and tidy. The font that we chose suits football hooligan films and they go really well with each particular scene in the trailer. For our opening snapshot at the beginning we pulled violent faces as the audience no straight away it is a serious film and that will attract the audience to be more involved in the film. The film isn't all violent it is are also funny parts in our film so there are different emotions used in our film. The opening tittle of our film stands out so it catches the audience and it makes it clear what the tittle is and stands out so that it is noticeable and they can remember it.
The costume we where wearing was i was wearing a green parka coat and casual jeans with blue puma shoes and Ryan and Luke where wearing casual clothes they where wearing jeans and jackets to show that they where just wearing casual clothes to watch a football match that is what is expected to wear from a football match. The audience was aware that we where just wearing casual clothes to the football match. I thought the costume where wearing was typical for a football hooligan film and our costume met the criteria of the film, we where wearing what people normally were on a day out to a football match.

For our opening tittle film we used London films because it shows us the producer of the film and presents the opening of the film. The text we used was bright in blue and it fades out to make it stand out and make it very effective and it catches the audience attraction. we also have a picture of London bridge in the background to show where it is set and the audience have been made more clear that it is a London film. We made sure that the opening title was at the start of the opening two minutes instead of towards the end. This is because we felt it would be more effective having the opening title at the start as straight away the name of the film will be getting into the audiences head and this is good advertising for the film production.

Sound in our film
Sound in our film are of the loud train going past is making a loud banging noise we also have like the birds in the air squeegeeing just before when the west ham fan was about to go on the phone then there is upbeat music when he is chasing them so the audience can feel the tension in the air and then when they punch him you can hear the sound effects of when they kick and punch him.

In our film we have all sorts of shots for example we have a long range when the west ham hooligans are chasing the millwill fan and the we have close ups when he is getting punched in the face and his reaction to it. The shots gives the audience more entertaining and they feel part of the film and they can feel the excitement.

Story Board
This are our ideas for our film and what we wanted to do from the start this a scene by scene storyboard and this what actually happens in the film. The storyboard gives you information about what happens in the story and gives you a step by step process of it. It tells you what camera shots are at what time of the film as they are descriptive pictures and writing of it.

Editing Process
Editing Process
With the editing process the first stage of editing that was done was to cut down the clips to make sure that there is no extra sound in the background for example. This probably lasted a couple of lessons as there was a lot of cutting down of clips. In total the video went from a two minute clip to a minutes and 30 seconds clip so that shows how much we cut the clips down.
When the clips were cut down the next stage was to add titles at the start of the video so institution clips so we made up a company called 'London Films' and added London films in the title at the beginning then we added a couple of effects onto these titles to make it look even more professional. A picture of the London skyline was added behind title to make it look like the company is actually real. To make this opening two minutes look proper I tried to include as many titles as possible so for the next set of titles I introduced the characters and to make it look proper i made each and every title fade in then after a couple of seconds fade out this is effective on the audience because it shows that the film is professional. Even though there were only three of us in the opening two minutes I used a couple more names to make my film look more professional and convincing.
Towards the end of the editing process there was one last thing that I done and that was finish off with adding some sound behind the clips. Halfway through the scene when Ghalib is being chased i added some tense music which was effective as it put the audience on the edge of there seats. All of this editing came together to make our film.

They punched him in the face a few times and kicked him and put him in pain.

Production tittle final idea
Production tittle final idea
In the end we decided to go with London films because we thought it was a suitable tittle to go with our film. we got London films faded out in black and white with a blue picture of London behind it we chose that because we thought it stood out and it would grab your attention straight away. Our tittle is bold and effective and it fades out in the middle but the writing at the end are clear. we thought that London films will be the best tittle as a group after a research of different names after a search.

Production tittles idea
As a group we came up with quiet a few ideas for our film production name at the beginning but we needed to find a suitable tittle for it and we needed one that will garb the audience attention and at the end we came up with London films and we decided to have that name as our production tittle. we thought the other names where to cheesy as they didn't go well with our film and it just dosen,t match it.

We used period 5 on the January 6th are last lesson to make our film which starts at 2.10 and we got to the leatherhead train station at 2.20 and we went wearing our own clothes and than we decided to do a football hooligan film where there is two west ham hooligans chasing the west ham supporter after the football match when they where about to get on the train back home. we recorded some of it in the alley when the west ham fans chased the millwall fan up the alley. After we finished the film around 3.00 pm we all decided to go home after we recorded our football hooligan film.

Tittle research
Tittle research
The tittle we decided to use was away diaries we decided to use the name away diaries because we are doing a football hooligan film and we thought it would be a good name and it kind of went with the tittle because in the film it is quiet ruff and it shows you how supporters are so committed to their club that if someone else supports a rival they would dislike them for that reason. are original name of the film was away days but we didn't realize that a film was already called that which was published in 2009 so we had to change the name to away diaries because we weren't allowed to copy write someone else film. The reason we called away diaries because its about to west ham fans who got away tickets to football grounds around the country and the diaries all about their days and what they get up to.

Evaluation of preliminary task
Evaluation of Preliminary Task
Today in media we made a clip for our preliminary task my group involved me, Luke and Ryan. we used different media techniques to make our clip. one technique we used was 180 degree rule so we had two characters speaking to one each other but one of us was recording him whilst the other one was acting it out then we swapped it around to make it look as if we where talking to each other but really we was talking to no one i thought that is a really effective technique because it looks very realistic and if i was an audience member i would think that we where actually someone there when i was talking in front of me.
we also used shot reverse shot and that is when one character is looking at another character and the other character is looking back at him and he is supposed to be opposite him and i feel the audience member thinks that they are speaking to each other so i think that is a very good technique, one of us was sitting down on the table while the other character was recording him while he was talking. Thirdly We were able to use some effects between each short clip that we filmed which were quite effective however i do think that we could of thought about it a bit more and put a bit more effort in to make it look even more professional.
